Job Description

The successful candidate will work as a team lead on projects including projects for large investment banks, supporting organizations with reviewing, summarizing and analysing financial documents (like ISDA, CSA etc.).

  • Relevant experience in  reviewing, analyzing and abstracting a wide range of contracts including Patent License Agreements, IT Procurement Agreements, Web Hosting Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Software and Data License Agreements, Vendor Services Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Purchase and License Agreements, Sponsor Research Agreements, Inter Institutional Agreements, Supply and Distribution Agreements, Staffing, Consulting and Teaming Agreements, Lease Agreements, Estoppels and SNDAA and other commercial contracts
  • Subject-matter knowledge of contracts across various industries.
  • Perform client outreach via emails and calls. Track and monitor the progress of the outreach for each client.
  • Day-to-day tasks involve quality check4-eyes review, wWork aAllocation, Internal/external stakeholder management, preparation of reports, training of new/existing team members, updating trackers.
  • Assisting managers with project management tasks like client management, preparing project reports and people management.
  • They should have good command over language in order to be able to create client engagement reference documents, reports, emails and drafts used for client communication with minimal senior personnel review and participate in client calls.
  • Should have the ability of running small projects with manager’s minimum supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders from different disciplines, and within a team.
  • Act as a team player while working with a team of lawyers/non-lawyers on several financial abstraction projects (financial/non-financial).
  • Provide professional, timely, and prompt service and responses to the Delivery Managers so that they can support the Client Contact and the Sales team
  • Manage deadlines without delivery delays and consistently re negotiate deadlines (when necessary) well in advance of originally scheduled deadline; escalate client issues promptly and appropriately; consistently complete real time client call notes.
  • Attend and participate actively in mandatory and non- mandatory training and certification courses.

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates for this position should competently demonstrate the following:

  • Subject-matter knowledge of contracts across various industries.
  • A proven record of completing complex documentation within very tight time deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical, logical, drafting, and communication skills
  • Excellent client service and internal coordination skills as part of a project team with a particular mandate
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to a team based working environment
  • Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook

Qualification:

  • Lawyer (LL.B. or LL.M.)

Experience:

2 year – 6 years
