Business Manager & Site Leader Netherlands

Job Description

In order to strengthen our local organization to serve new and existing clients, Thomson Reuters is looking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Business Manager Netherlands, based in Amsterdam and reporting to the Head of Netherlands & Nordics (NeNo).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful development of our local business and will lead a team of Account Managers to maximize sales and revenue growth while building and fostering a high performing and customer oriented team.

Responsibilities

  • Maximizes the Thomson Reuters revenue in The Netherlands
  • Leads a team of account manager professionals, as well as an own set of accounts
  • Leads execution of business objectives and strategic initiatives, including New Business
  • Responsible for alignment of strategies and activities across customer facing roles
  • Drives the implementation of sales/account/community plans
  • Drives a culture of performance and passion
  • Inspires, coaches and mentors account team members for improved performance
  • Empowers team members to constantly develop behaviors and skills to maximize client impact
  • Ensures all business dealings are handled professionally and ethically in accordance to established and accepted business practices
  • Accountable for forecast and pipeline management
  • Proactively contributes to the overall development of the NeNo business

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Proven ability to deliver results
  • Ability to inspire, coach and mentor in a sales environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Fully competent in consultative selling
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment, collaborating across multiple departments/organizations and influencing at all levels
  • Demonstrated account management experience with a strong orientation towards customer service and business development
  • Track record of successfully leading sales/account teams
  • Strong strategic planning, complex contract negotiations and experience selling across various sales cycles.
  • Fluent in English and ideally a good level in Dutch.
