Career Relaunch focuses on Women with career break and provides them a platform to get back into the corporate

Role purpose:

The primary purpose of the above role is to assist the business development lead and team at Buy-Side segment in the South Asia region to help defining the market size for the various offerings and work towards streamlining the propositions as per the local market needs. The role shall also assist the Business Development lead for the development of the Buy-Side segment presence in these markets, both through the launch of new and refreshing established propositions.

Primary accountabilities:

  • Market Research:
    • Build understanding of the key trends in the Buy-Side segment – AUM movement, mergers and acquisitions, profitability of the key players etc. and share the same with the team
    • Identify the firms/potential customers in the Buy-Side segments
    • Identify the relevant people at the above firms for building the appropriate databases. Reach out to the Sales Specialists and Account Managers internally and use external resources for securing such details.
    • Mapping of the competition’s assets in these firms, compare against TR’s assets and build intelligence on market share.
  • Proposition:
    • Participate in the various internal & external meetings for proposition feedbacks, compile such requirements and share it with the relevant people internally
    • Participate in the various calls/meetings with the proposition and content teams, jot down minutes of meetings and follow up actions
    • Assist the Business Development lead in Partnership discussions and internal coordination of the same
  • Events and Liaising with Marketing:
    • Coordinate with the Marketing team for lining up various events – Webinars, Focused client meetings etc.
    • Compile the suitable invitees for such events and ensure adequate participation
    • Work with marketing for arranging various EDM campaigns
    • Track the various industry forums and ensure adequate participation of the team in such events
  • Business Development:
    • Follow up with the internal teams on various sales campaigns and track results
    • Constant update on the team on such campaigns

Skills required:

  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Should know how to read annual report
  • Familiarity with financial sector and terms
  • Proficient in English language
