Business Development Manager

Thomson Reuters Sales 12/12/2017 7:34:34 PM New York, NY United States of America
Job Description

Thomson Reuters, Financial & Risk Division, has developed a global end-to-end client identity (Know Your Customer – KYC) and verification service called KYCaaS. The Service accelerates the on-boarding process by enabling clients to easily provide their identity documents to financial institutions

• A secure managed service supported by world-class IT and security infrastructure

• A clear and standardized KYC policy, agreed by the financial institutions to facilitate account opening - which leads to faster speed to trade or invest
• The end of duplication of efforts – the client submits their documents once for distribution to all their pre-authorized financial institutions.

This unique service addresses numerous challenges and concerns for financial institutions and their clients by avoiding duplication of efforts and by providing a globally agreed standard of identity requirements, all powered securely by the world’s largest information service provider. This global standard is based on specific drivers such as regulatory status, jurisdiction or product, and will ensure that in 90% of cases clients only need to provide one set of documents to Thomson Reuters, which then acts as the conduit to numerous financial institutions.  KYCaaS brings financial institutions and their clients together by facilitating the provision of Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements in one easy, managed service environment.

The service provides a “client passport‟ for the clients of financial institutions who need to supply corporate identity documentation as regulators around the world are rigorously implementing strict anti-money laundering regulations. By consulting with the communities (financial institutions, asset managers, hedge funds and corporate) which this service brings together, Thomson Reuters is in a position to foster a mutual understanding of what is required and why to deliver a high quality managed service.
