FIX Onboarding Engineer, REDI

Job Description

The FIX Onboarding team works with broker and client side certifications, production rollouts as well as working on ad hoc integration queries from clients.  The team also provides L3 support for the REDI support staff.

This role will provide highly skilled technical support/delivery capability as technical lead for the current and future delivery, support, and maintenance of future production services in the technical operations environment. Leads technical and procedural consistency within a team focused on the implementation, service delivery, and support of products, systems, & networks. Leads initiatives for driving down incident rates and working with 1st line operations to improve service recovery times. Leads the implementation process to ensure that all aspects of operability are delivered whilst ensuring that existing service levels are maintained or improved.


  • Engaging with external parties to understand business workflows and translating them into a software solutions
  • Configuring a world-class FIX connectivity platform with maximum efficiency
  • Delivering best in class customer solutions offering scalability and business
  • Ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail in customer solutions
  • Operating in a low ego, collaborative environment


  • 3-5 years of experience with FIX client onboarding previously for a connectivity vendor, buy-side or a sell-side fix platform
  • Knowledge of Unix or Linux based O/S Applications
  • Scripting knowledge required in one of the following languages: UNIX/PERL/PYTHON
  • SQL knowledge to gather, sort and join database information required
  • Knowledge of common networking concepts to be able to communicate about VPN/TNS/Radianz requests
  • Troubleshooting and trading system support experience required
  • Familiarity with client connectivity migrations and platform upgraded
  • Previously Managed Testing Scripts and Testing Processes for Fix software changes
  • Familiarity with issue tracking and resolution through JIRA
  • Knowledge about financial OMS and EMS space a plus
