Production Coordinator

Purpose:

The Production Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the production processes for print, electronic and online products; liaises with external customers and vendors; provides support to the publisher, sales and editorial teams; tracks and reports on revenue.

This position is responsible for:

  • coordinating the production processes for print, electronic and online products;
  • preparing insertion orders and contracts in AdSystem so sales will have more time to build relationships with customers;
  • updating customer information in AdSystem;
  • building and maintaining excellent relationships with external customers and internal partners;
  • creating and managing production schedules and inventory availability for print, electronic and online products;
  • coordinating the collection, creation, processing and approval of customer ads;
  • managing the proofing and approval processes for print, electronic and online products;
  • posting and managing web ads;
  • tracking revenues and preparing reports;
  • preparing billing information for order processing to prepare invoices;
  • balancing revenue reports between AdSystem and CEBO systems;
  • reviewing Webcom sales reports for commissions;
  • providing support to the publisher, sales and editorial teams; and
  • liaising with vendors regarding schedules, processes and products.

You will be a strong team player and will possess:

  • a post-secondary education or related work experience;
  • 3+ years of experience in media publishing;
  • ability to interact professionally with external and internal clients;
  • the ability to be a self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal and collaborative relationship building skills;
  • excellent organizational skills;
  • strong project management skills;
  • strong aptitude for financial tracking and reporting;
  • the ability to work under pressure with minimal direction;
  • the ability to manage deadlines while balancing multiple priorities;
  • a keen eye for detail;
  • excellent command of the English language in both written and oral forms; and
  • proficiency in MS Office programs.

Previous experience in media production will be considered an asset.
