Onboarding Specialist and Product Trainer

Job Description

Corporate ​​Trainer - Onboarding Specialist (Sales Training focused) will be primarily responsible for designing, delivering and administering all aspects of the onboarding and orientation programs for Knowledge Solutions new hires that carry a sales quota as well as the administration and logistics of all aspects of the new hire sales and product training programs that are the responsibility of the Knowledge Solutions sales training team. 
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Designing and delivering training, documentation and job aids to the Ann Arbor, Carrollton, and Field based teams as requested by the Director of Training.  Training will be delivered via elearning modules, Quick Starts and classroom.

Major Areas of Accountability include:

  • Assess Sales Training Needs for new hires and develop and deliver appropriate training solutions
  • Annual survey of new hires to determine curriculum impact and revise accordingly
  • Regularly meet with Management to discuss training needs
  • Design and deliver all assigned training modules
  • Use established instructional design methods to insure learning
  • Deliver Training via Appropriate Venue/Media
  • Design class according to media/venue
  • Create appropriate support materials (handouts, workbooks, binder tabs etc)
  • Training Administration
  •  “Market” system training to increase attendance
  • Issue monthly MOR for Manager of Training summarizing all training for Manager of Training
  • Track Attendance at classes and assist with travel logistics as needed
  • Create a monthly report summarizing all training for Manager of Training
  • Ability to travel nationwide
