Position Summary

This role has been created to actively generate the new sales leads from our EM community through telemarketing and drive Thomson Reuters Eikon Messenger (EM) usage. Eikon Messenger is an instant messaging communication tool that connects the financial markets, its goal is to enable an open and secure financial community that allows users to connect across multiple chat. This role’s objective is to work with the solution sales team for lead generation, and to assist, train, and promote EM to our clients and actively work together with local Client Specialists to enhance our growing EM community.

Role Responsibilities

  • The primary objective is to achieve the KPIs related to the new sales lead generation via telemarketing and driving EM usage
  • On boarding new users and actively seeking opportunities to increase Messaging users
  • Support CS’s and other colleagues with messenger activities and administration
  • Collaborate with the Asian (Collaboration and Community Specialist, CCS) & Collaboration team

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • 1+ years of proven customer service experience,.
  • Experience working with an e-trading platform or other financial markets software product via either a vendor or bank would be an advantage
  • Relationship Management, Client Service, Sales or Operations with a background in Buy Side or Foreign Exchange will be considered
  • The candidate must be a highly professional, self-motivated, target driven, strong business acumen and organized individual
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational capabilities as well as analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
