Job Description

Are you looking to build your digital marketing expertise and have a desire to be a part of a growing, successful, high-performing team? If so, Thomson Reuters has an exciting, hands-on digital marketing internship just for you in our FindLaw business.

Digital Marketing interns rotate through the digital marketing organization within FindLaw. During each rotation, you'll have the opportunity to learn the roles, skills and responsibilities that are unique to each team. You'll also work on client projects, influence current processes, and bring new ideas to the team. You'll leave each rotation with skills to make you more marketable in the digital marketing industry.

*Candidates must be available to work full-time from the end of May/early June to mid-August 2018.

Key Responsibilities

Development:

  • Learn skills in digital marketing related to organic, paid (PPC), and local search, as well as social media
  • Rotate across our FindLaw Digital Marketing teams to train on various aspects of digital marketing and have an opportunity to work on websites and projects

Research and Analysis:

  • Research and audit aspects of a website’s digital marketing strategy and align with digital marketing best practices (e.g., keyword research, link analysis, local audits).
  • Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Site Catalyst, and Screaming Frog (among others), to conduct analysis and research
     

Qualifications & Experience

Experience:

  • Preferred field of study:  Digital Marketing, Business, Marketing, Communications, or Information Science
  • Online marketing experience preferred
  • Website development and management preferred

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to continuously learn
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics (Site Catalyst), Google Analytics, Google Search Console preferred
