o Under-reported stories - our growing team of journalists covers the stories other media don’t cover with an emphasis on humanitarian crises, women’s rights, trafficking and slavery, the human impact of climate change and property rights.
o Trust Conference - an influential international conference to take action by putting the rule of law behind women’s rights and tackle human trafficking and slavery.
o TrustLaw is the world’s leading service providing free legal assistance to NGOs and social enterprise. The network boasts 4,000 members, including 3,300 NGOs and social enterprises and 700 law firms and corporate legal teams.
o Media development - for the past 30 years we have been training journalists and media professional, improving the standards of journalism around the world.
We are seeking a highly organised, tech-savvy newsroom administrator with excellent organisational skills and good with people to support our global editorial team of 45 reporters and 150 freelancers. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and be able to take initiative. You must be able to communicate effectively and have good problem solving skills to navigate the complex structures of a large company. You will be able to juggle demands for new technology with booking travel for the team while ensuring all staff records are kept up to date. You will be working on Microsoft Outlook as well as in Salesforce to ensure our contact databases are up-to-date and input new contacts. You will also be involved with ensuring our weekly newsletters are reaching the right people. The job is based in Canary Wharf and you will work with the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s award-winning global news team.
