Marketing Campaign Analyst

(7-month contract)


The successful candidate will be expected to create campaign lists and assist with data integrity projects under the direction of the Manager of Database Marketing Operations. This position will also be responsible for supporting cross-company digital marketing initiatives.

This position is responsible for:

  • creating lists, using IBM Unica Campaign tool for direct mail, email, and inside sales campaigns and liaising with marketers to ensure desired results;
  • supporting ad hoc and known market research list requests for various groups within Thomson Reuters;
  • supporting Field and Lead Generation in the creation of campaigns;
  • participating in the “build a better customer record” by investigating  and processing data anomalies within the company data warehouse (“Datamart”);
  • supporting our digital marketing team, with attention to detail by ensuring proofing, approvals, scheduling, and deployment dependencies are in place for assigned email campaigns; and
  • using Act-On, a web-based email marketing tool to schedule and deploy basic marketing emails.

You will be a strong team player and will possess:

  • 3 – 5 years work related experience in a marketing/technical role;
  • an understanding of e-marketing concepts and processes;
  • experience using IBM Unica Campaign tool,, FileMaker Pro, and/or Act-On email management software preferred, but will train right candidate on these tools;
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • excellent attention to details and specifics; and
  • strong MS Access and Excel skills.

A marketing and or publishing background and proficiency in HTML, Dreamweaver will be considered an asset.
