Job Title: Producer (Washington D.C.)
Department Summary: The bureau in Washington D.C. serves as the nerve center for news coverage out of North America for our domestic and international clients. This position requires excellent news judgment and the ability to produce, write and edit news packages, often at a moment's notice. As our client base diversifies at a rapid speed, the ability to file stories for broadcast clients as well as voice packages for online clients such as Yahoo, Aol etc. is a huge plus.
Position Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Broadcast Journalism, Journalism, Communication or related field, plus 3 years of experience as a producer, journalist, reporter or similar role. In lieu of Master's degree + 3 years' experience, the employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Broadcast Journalism, Journalism, Communication or related field plus 5 years of progressive experience as a producer, journalist, reporter or similar role.
Experience may be gained concurrently must include the following:
Experience may be gained pre, during or post Master’s degree.
