Reuters is seeking an experienced reporter for the role of Senior Correspondent covering finance and M&A in Sao Paulo. The successful candidate will bring energy and talent to a beat that includes Brazil’s biggest banks as well as a resurgent IPO market and a wave of asset sales as Latin America’s largest economy shrugs off its deepest recession on record. We are looking for an aggressive reporter with a track record of developing sources, delivering scoops and setting the agenda on big corporate deals. Teamwork is essential, as well as a readiness to help develop new talent and a flair for enterprise reporting to take our readers beneath the surface of big stories.
At least 5 years in journalism is required. Fluent English is essential and knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage.
