Job Description

YOU AND YOUR TEAM:

You will join the Financial Modelling and Conversion Team (FMC) of 17 colleagues based in Gdynia and over 30 colleagues in other locations. FMC team exists in Gdynia for 10 years and is providing a wide range of services for internal and external clients including top financial institutions around the world. The team offers an unparalleled level of service along Datastream and Eikon products family.

WHY IS THIS JOB IMPORTANT?

Associate Consultant’s daily tasks require creative approach using Thomson Reuters applications and financial knowledge. You will investigate and learn different parts of financial industry depending on client’s role and workflow. Our customers rely on your expertise to take their business decisions every day.

SOME OF DAILY TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM:

  • Prepare custom, tailor made analyses in Microsoft Excel / Thomson Reuters applications based on client’s requests.
  • Cooperate with sales teams in displacements our competition (migrations from other products on the market, provide new revenue opportunities) and help in retention of current clients.
  • Plan, prepare and perform migrations projects for huge, well known financial institutions (mainly work with customer’s financial models and charts, data conversion).
  • Work on data presentations, analyses presentations and functionality inquiries.
  • Provide creative solutions and high level of service through telephone and e-mail.
  • Opportunities for on-site visits at customer offices all over the world (optional).

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

  • Numeracy skills and analytic mind
  • Knowledge and interest in the financial markets
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in using Microsoft Excel
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Pay attention to details and be able to work with big financial datasets
  • Graduates of Economics/Finance or related field
  • Fluency in English
  • Good overall communication skills

YOU WILL BE EVEN MORE COMPETITIVE IF:

  • You know how to operate on Thomson Reuters products - Eikon and Datastream
