Lead Software Engineer - Reuters Editorial Technology: Software Engineering Lead to help build new exciting platforms as well as supporting and improving existing platforms within Editorial Technology. Our Story Automation Platform is a new platform designed to augment existing Editorial Technology platform to support Reuters' more than 3000 journalists and editors throughout the News production lifecycle – from discovery of news worthy events to researching the story to publication, and all that at the speed of light in an increasingly competitive landscape. The Picture Production Platform is an existing platform that supports the workflows of 1000s of award-winning global Reuters photographers and editors from picture ingestion to publication.
We are seeking an experienced engineer to help architect and deliver the Lynx Insights Platform as well as enhance other Picture Production Platforms. You will bring hands-on knowledge about emerging technologies, and will have experience in deploying those technologies for the benefit of the business.
