Job Description

Primary Objective(s)

The Senior Marketer for the Campaign Development team focused on content management for demand generation, retention marketing, and thought leadership programs.  The role is responsible for externally and internally facing content and content lifecycle. This includes an “always on” content strategy that ensures audience centric content is available through a mix of channels that optimize engagement and deliver measurable results. The ability to work cross-functionally with both upstream content subject matter specialists and downstream content activators is critical to this role as is project management proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support content strategy development with research and information gathering on audience challenges and needs, interactions and asset preferences
  • Leverage industry trends, corporate brand and solution value propositions to source and craft quality content
  • Create and manage the creation of primary and derivative assets for inbound and outbound digital marketing, thought leadership, demand generation, and retention focused content
  • Manage content lifecycle workflow from creation through approvals, editing, publishing, measurement, and maintenance
  • Make recommendations for optimizing content quality, processes and activation channel choices based on analysis
  • Map content to the audience persona journeys linked to campaign themes and goals
  • Manage, contribution and publish on social channels

QUALIFICATIONS
 

Education and Experience:

  • 5-7 + years of professional marketing or business development experience
  • 3+ years of focus in content marketing /management preferred
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or a related field required
  • MBA preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven planning and project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively maximize the ROI of marketing content strategies
  • Proven knowledge and ability of owning and managing marketing initiatives and projects
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-organizational teams and external partners
  • Ability to think strategically creatively
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and work with data
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to present and communicate complex information to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to drive results within a team environment while leveraging professional relationships across a highly matrixed organization
  • Capable of leading parts of a presentation  effectively with poise, enthusiasm, and impact
  • Able to think independently and work with ambiguity
