We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant to act as Relationship, Account Manager and product Subject Matter Expert for our Professional Services Corporate Tax solutions.

This is a highly visible, hybrid role combining the key accountabilities of Client Service, Relationship Management, Product Consulting, Demonstrations  and Testing to our Corporate Tax clients.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Professional Services, you will have the following key responsibilities:

Client Service & Relationship Management

  • Act as key contact point for a client portfolio including product support, 2nd line of support troubleshooting, channeling customer product feedback onto development teams, delivering customer initiated engagement sessions i.e. User forums, seminars, CRM database management

Product Implementations & Consulting

  • Assist with the delivery of implementations, migrations, customization and consulting assignments. This will include the application of Tax & Accounting Professional Services best practice processes and procedures, preparation of relevant documentation, design & build, deployment and testing
  • Active contribution to forums and processes designed to feed customer requirements into the product development process (e.g. participating in scoping and design workshops/meetings)
  • Assist development teams with testing the design, formulation and execution of test strategies, test cases and reporting

Product Demonstrations & Training

  • Conduct or assist with the execution of product demonstrations.  Understand customer pressure points and develop presentations to suit client needs
  • Provide product training to customers and internal staff as required
  • Proactively encourage customer attendance and participation in public or private training

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Corporate Tax and Accounting professional with commercial/corporate tax advisory and a Big 4 background.

You will be a confident communicator, able to build strong relationships, influence and present/train small to large audiences. You will be commercially astute, technologically competent (able to troubleshoot and understand technology concepts) and able to juggle and deliver on competing priorities.

You will also bring the following to the role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Finance/Accounting
  • Professional qualifications in CA/CPA/Masters of Tax (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of the Australian Taxation Law landscape and income tax legislation
  • Knowledge of Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Corporate Tax or ONESOURCE Tax Provision Tax software (advantageous)
