We are looking for a new colleague: Sales Operations Manager - Market Development (maternity cover)

You and your team.

You will join a Sales Operations team for Continental Europe (covering 27 countries). Its members are the people who will help operate and grow the large business we have been entrusted with and are located across the major centers of our region.

Why is this job important?

The aim of the Sales Operations Manager - Market Development role is to enable the GTM Continental Europe teams to deliver on their key objectives.  This will be achieved by impacting our frontline performance management, taking ownership in strategic planning activities, delivering decision-making support and analytics for the business owners, and streamlining communication to support our 400+ people to execute and succeed on the regional priorities.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and monitoring reports as well as generating analyses by combining different sources of information such as Trust, EDW, BI Apps or finance data
  • Collaborating with the Market Development team to design, implement, monitor and execute Sales initiatives such as campaigns
  • Collaborating with Marketing to get the best possible impact on Market Development and branding initiatives
  • Supporting the Sales Enablement process by taking responsibilities in learning, communications townhalls preparation
  • Identifying, developing, and implementing opportunities to improve sales processes, products and/or services.  
  • Driving process improvement and change initiatives
  • Understanding and promoting "best practice" methodologies

Success in this role will be measured on the impact to our frontline performance.

Note: to be discussed - 20-30% of the role may also cover the Business Consultant activities for Unicredit, Commerzbank, Allianz supporting the Lead Account Manager in handling the commercial & administrative relationship with the client. 

What do you need to bring?

  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of other continental European language(s) is a plus
  • An enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Proven track record in a Business Operations, Sales, Process or similar role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A strong understanding of Thomson Reuters Sales processes and business activities
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with high expertise of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build close relationships and interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization, in person and remotely
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
