Senior DevOps engineer

Job Description

Our vision is to provide legendary customer service to our F&R customers; to build tools that enable efficient F&R products deployments and support.


  • Support development teams by maintaining existing build and release processes
  • Expand automation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines
  • Implement monitoring to cover all phases of the CD pipelines
  • Deliver virtualization solution for development teams to create/use/recycle ad-hoc environments for test
  • Create tools that help development teams deliver to production faster
  • Implement and maintain a high availability environment
  • Write operational and support documentation

Key Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT industry
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experienced with Linux based operating system (preferably Redhat)
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, fast learner
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Methodologies
  • Experience managing and automating build and software release pipelines (Jenkins, Puppet)
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in writing tools with Html/Javascript
  • Good understanding of database management (Oracle, ArangoDB a plus)
  • Knowledge of Git source control management tool
  • Experience managing Java application deployment (Tomcat)
  • Proficient with understanding and handling JSON/XML
  • Good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture/Microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of Docker
  • Knowledge of AWS
  • Knowledge of Sensu/Kibana

Soft Skills:

  • Creative thinking
  • Experience in Agile/Lean
