Job Description

Position Title: Tax & Regulatory Business Analyst

Business Unit: TR Technology and Operations

Product or Service: Internal tax and regulatory requirement management.

Role Summary: 

The individual in this position will be able to perform due diligence for the business to determine system needs and process impacts of a Global regulatory requirement for our corporate systems. Ability to provide clear and concise impact summaries to both internal stakeholders and 3rd party technical partners. Ability to self-manage multiple projects with limited direction is a firm requirement.

Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities: 

  • Research regulatory impact to internal processes
  • Solicit, research and document requirements
  • Facilitate solution process outcomes
  • Initiate and facilitate work sessions 


Key Relationships: 

  • Would team with and take direction with Lead BA within the Tax & Regulatory BA team.
  • Stakeholders are global and hold roles as financial analysts, controllers, compliance offers, users, project managers and technical 3rd party vendors

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to work within demanding deadlines
  • Ability to be primary liaison between the business and project team and effectively represent the stakeholder requirements
  • Responsible for projects of moderate to very high complexity
  • Ability to elicit, document and refine business requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to facilitate meetings with stakeholders
  • Ability to negotiate constructively
  • Moderate analysis skills
  • Strong self-management capability
  • High level of attention to detail, high degree of quality
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly and support multiple projects at once
  • Comfortable with shifting priorities

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • SAP FI
  • Regulatory & Compliance
  • Taxation topics
  • Internal Audit

Education/ Certifications: 

  • CBAP certification preferred
  • Degree in Finance, Business or Technology preferred
