Position: Communications Specialist

Role Summary: 

This role will support Global Sourcing and ET&O Talent, both within the Enterprise Technology & Operations organization

Responsible for executing on communications strategies to meet business objectives for the Global Sourcing organization and the ET&O Talent function, ensuring alignment to global communications strategies. 

Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities: 

  • Ensure alignment with and understanding of enterprise goals and objectives to execute best-in-class communications messaging to support business success
  • Drive the internal communication cascade of business objectives, strategies, and activities from corporate and across business groups to employees 
  • Lead all Global Sourcing and ET&O Talent communication initiatives and events through multimedia channels 
  • Provide counsel to communications stakeholders and partners
  • Work closely with counterparts across internal, external communications and social media to ensure consistent and appropriate messaging
  • Continuously refine and strengthen existing communications in line with global communications strategies

Key Relationships: 

  • Global Head of Sourcing
  • Vice President, Talent & Development, ET&O
  • Vice President ET&O Communications, Corporate Affairs
  • Internal Communications Manager, ET&O Communications 

Essential Skills and Experience: 

  • Several years progressively increased communications experience, within a corporate environment an advantage
  • Ability to build relationships as a trusted advisor with leaders / managers
  • Ability to handle sensitive / confidential information.
  • Ability to build network of sources and thrive in a highly matrixed organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented individual with excellent follow-through
  • Ability to work under pressure, coordinating and managing multiple projects and deliverables at a time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Basic graphic design or HTML experience would be advantageous
  • Talent and development knowledge / background
