About the Role

Senior Solutions Sales Specialist will be focused in driving sales for the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) related software solution, primarily focused on Japanese automotive industry in Japan, with possible future expansion into other countries in ASEAN & North Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Grow sales in collaboration with territory managers, solution consultants to deliver gross sales within Japanese automotive industry
  • Will cover entire sales process ranging from lead generation to deal closure
  • Major emphasis on opening up new business, both within existing accounts and new customers
  • Keep abreast of the FTA/EPA related news especially those which will have direct impact towards automotive industry
  • Drafting and preparing proposal documents
  • Assisting key retention situations as required
  • Timely reporting of the sales activity and maintaining salesforce.com updated at all times for accurate forecasting

Knowledge & Skills

  • High level expertise of the rules and regulations related to Free Trade Agreement
  • Broad knowledge of the Japanese automotive industry
  • Demonstrates a significant degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness
  • May act as an advisor to senior management in area of expertise

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent
  • Over 8 years of experience in enterprise software sales role with a good track record
  • Relevant and demonstrable previous sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably dealing with automotive industry
  • Detailed understanding of a solution sales process
  • Ability and willingness to generate own leads
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English preferred
  • Self motivated and strong personal drive and energy to exceed expectations.
