Job Description

Role definition – key responsibilities

The overall objective of this role is to ensure best use of World-Check Data by Data File and World-Check One API clients. This is ultimately to ensure client retention and optimize revenues.
 

  • Provision of client product and data consultancy;
    • Advice on changes to Regulation and Legislation and how this may affect client usage of the World-Check Data File and World-Check One API.
      • The Proposition and regional GTM Market Development teams will advise of any changes to Regulation or Legislation globally that may affect the use of the World-Check Data File and World-Check One API.
      • The Proposition regional GTM Market Development teams will advise on which clients (or categories of clients – e.g., geography, market sector etc.) should be consulted with regarding these changes.
    • For the top 20 Clients in the region (based on revenue and number of records) provide ongoing advice regarding usage of World-Check Data.
      • The Proposition team will advise on the top 20 clients and the priority of these and the amount of time to be provisioned for consultancy for each of these clients. This is likely to be around 10 days per year per client.
      • This advice will take one of the following four forms;
        • Technical integration of World-Check Data File and World-Check One API into client infrastructure.
        • Best use of World-Check Data File and World-Check One API contents (breadth and depth of data)
        • Review of client business processes using World-Check Data File and World-Check One API.
        • Information on any new data elements being introduced into the World-Check Data File or World-Check One API, plus advice on Product Strategy going forward.
    • These services will be provided on a FOC basis (unless agreed otherwise by exception). The maximum amount of days to be allocated to a client on this basis will be 15 per annum.
    • The role holder(s) will be required to travel to client sites.

The role holders should be self-starters, working well independently. Actively carrying our research and investigative work on their own initiative.

• Production of accurate estimates for own work.

• Has a detailed understanding of colleagues’ activities and how they (the role holder) can support their colleagues.
• Takes initiative to update other team members with relevant information and listens to other people.

Technical knowledge
• Knowledge of XML, CSV, data feeds and API’s.

•Experience handling large volume of Data.

• Knowledge of AML and KYC.

• Strong working knowledge of World-Check data and technologies.
• Good understanding of database, internet and intranet applications relevant to the GRC segment.
• Ambassador for best practice configuration of and use of World-Check data in client / partner solutions.
• Drive potential product implementation issues to timely and successful resolution.

• Able to use the Microsoft Office Desktop product range.
• Clients turn to this individual for expert advice on technical configuration for use of World-Check data.

Domain Knowledge
• Understands the key client business processes that involve the use of World-Check Data.
• Has a broad understanding of the types of Regulation and Legislation that necessitate and affect the use of TR’s World-Check product range.
• Understand TR’s key partners for World-Check and new entrants in this space.

Business Analysis
• Takes ownership of complex problems across more than one area of activity and derives solutions which cover the technical, people and business issues.
• Adopts a systematic approach to the appraisal of requirements, processes, actions and situations affecting everyday work situations.
• Develops clear understanding of the issues, relationships and dependencies and produces well thought out options for the future.
• Is able to identify a number of solutions and quickly select the most practical and efficient.


Education/ Certifications
Degree level.
International perspective and Spanish language capability - are distinct advantages.
Professional level of spoken and written English.
