Sales Excellence Manager

Job Description

Role Purpose  

As part of the Business Operations organization, the individual will be responsible for wide-ranging reporting and analytics inclusive of scorecard and dashboard, sales pipeline and forecast, sales performance, business review reports, and other business assessment methods.

This position will ensure all information and processes are in place for the successful achievement of business and sales plans. To work cross the whole sales organization interacting with field sales management, sales operations and finance will be essential.

The Sales Excellence manager will lead a team to cover the sales analysis, sales training support and sales admin support, and report directly to the Head of Finance & Operations.  


  • Generates monthly/ quarterly scorecards for China and Business Units, as well as monthly and ad hoc sales reporting to management and sales reps.
  • Assists division managers with sales and management projects through compiling, coordinating, analysis and computing of data and information gathered through research and reports.
  • Works with field managers with sales efforts through managing and analyzing sales information related to customers and product sales.
  • Leads the team to perform pipeline analyses, sales dashboard, project V etc. May provide input on territory analysis, quota setting and compensation planning to Sales leadership.
  • Proactively engage business managers to understand the requirements for business intelligence, design and generate reports and provide analysis.
  • Changed static reporting standard to dynamic dashboards, creates sophisticated Excel Power Pivot solutions for complex analytical problems, and generates customized sales reports.
  • Analyze and process sales information through the implementation of complex excel spread sheets, access data bases and BI systems.
  • Sales effectiveness project lead by GGO sales excellent team etc. 


  • Bachelor’s Degree will be required
  • 5+ years of sales operation experience plus 3+ years business/sales analyst experience
  • Excellent Microsoft tools skill
  • Excellent oral and written linguistic skills in English, strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strategic mindset.
  • Experience with sales process and sales performance management.
  • High level of familiarity with design, capabilities and report/dashboard functionality.
  • Pipeline Management Skills
  • Project Management skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work across boundaries.
  • Work experience using and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.

Additional Skills

  • Strong leadership and management skills, including developing and mentoring staff and managing select projects
  • Ability to work cross functionally and build partnerships.
  • Prior experience in business operations, sales or related experience, primarily in the area of multi-project management and implementing process improvements.
  • Work experience using and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business products pricing, policies, contracts and processes.
  • Assists with the vertical information distribution tunnel provided to the sales employees from company headquarters.
