Directors are close enough to particular projects to be intimately familiar with them, but perform department-wide functions within Pangea3 (i.e. not just for the Mumbai; Noida; and Carrolton delivery centres; but potentially across offices). As such, this role serves as a transition between project management, and department management; as well as with Finance and the company at large. Significant potential overlap with the Sr. Manager role. The responsibilities will involve the following: · Assumes ability to demonstrate the requisites of Sr. Manager – Engagements · Primary client-facing responsibility for certain clients · Significant ability to leverage particular projects into additional business development opportunities · Holistic approach to the department's staffing needs, adjusting between projects (including cross-office projects) as required. · Focused on, and suggests, continued process improvements · Extensive administrative responsibilities, primarily centered on the employee appraisal process. Competencies: · Effortlessly manages deadlines without delivery delays. · Displays good judgment in escalating issues as appropriate in the chain. · Effectively shares e-discovery/platform knowledge with colleagues. · Demonstrates an ability to perform Sr. Managers's role in Sr. Manager's absence. Skills: · Strong project management skills, including firm grasp of Pangea3 processes, metrics, and productivity-implications of project workflow. · Strong client- and external party-facing skills: main point of contact with external representatives in connection with particular projects. Able to effectively gauge client needs even if not expressly stated. · Highly responsive to the needs of both internal (including reporting managers, other project managers and team members) as well as external clients. · Strong presentation and training skills; project-specific training is a core responsibility. · Strong subject matter expertise, displays significant ability to engage with the subject matter expert of the department's projects (Industries include: Financial, Intellectual Property etc.) · Highly skilled in e-discovery platforms and relevant technology · General knowledge of e-discovery platforms, including managing assignments, workflow (including the ability to suggest changes to workflow), understand platform abilities, limitations, metrics and reporting capabilities. Individuals who are equally proficient in a greater number of platforms should be rated more highly than those whose knowledge is limited to particular platforms. · Demonstrates an ability to perform Sr. Managers's role in Sr. Manager's absence.
