About the role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager for our Tax & Accounting business to drive sales across our suite of solutions, targeted at accounting firms. Established in 2002, Cleardocs provides Australian legal documents online. As an authorised ASIC software provider your company lodgements are fast and efficient.
With more than 190 current and compliant Company, SMSF, Family Trust, HR and Estate Planning legal documents to over 70,000 users, our easy to use question interface ensures the document creation process is simple, fast and cost effective.
Cleardocs has been working with the top 20 Australian law firm (Maddocks) since 2002 , ensuring all our documents are upto date with legislative and case law changes.
The Cleardocs service includes free, local support, a legal helpline and we're owned by Thomson Reuters, the world's leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals.
Your key priorities will be new business development (finding new clients), and building increasing value with existing clients, although the primary focus is on new business development. You will achieve these results by proactively engaging and developing close relationships with customers to understand their business and provide them with a targeted solution.

Skills and experience
The successful candidate will have strong business development experience and have a passion for sales, a personal drive for success and a strong determination to achieve objectives. Additionally, you will bring the following to the role:
· Minimum of 3 years experience in Sales
· Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding targets in a phone and face to face based sales
· A ‘hunter’ mentality
· Excellent active listening, negotiation and consultative sales skills
· Customer centric approach
· An excellent telephone manner
· Commercial and sales acumen with the ability to identify opportunities to cross sell solutions
· Good organizational and time management skills
· A genuine interest in the professional services industry
· A Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce (strongly preferred)
