Super Lawyers - Research Editor

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Research Editor is to collect data and maintain research data bases and publication lists using proper selection criteria.


  • Performs and completes research in an accurate, rapid, consistent and cost-effective manner
  • Leverage excellent research skills, including online and print, and other creative and exhaustive practices to surface information that is vital to the selection process
  • Collect and manage data; Maintain research data bases and publication lists using proper selection criteria
  • Demonstrate high standards of excellence in work product, research practices, and upholding the integrity of the Super Lawyers research and selection process
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Super Lawyers research and selection process; Can explain selection process to internal and external audiences


Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 0-1 years experience working with data collection and/or internet based research
  • Experience with Excel and basic HTML knowledge preferred

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated and able to consistently meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of the legal system
