Associate Quality Assurance & E-File Analyst

Job Description

The ONESOURCE Associate Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the testing of assigned projects for various ONESOURCE Income tax products. The Analyst will review functional test plans; develop control data, templates, and calculations to validate software features.

Relevant U.S. Tax experience in preparation of 1120 or 1065 returns is mandatory.

Independently, the candidate must be able to analyze and resolve complex tax software problems, document software deficiencies and understand the business/customer requirements.

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality assurance of assigned products including the systems that create, measure and maintain these products.
  • Evaluate design, specifications, and processes from the perspective of the customer through testing of products.
  • Assist in the creation of documentation and enforcement of product and performance standards.
  • Perform content-related and end-user testing of products.
  • Identify and investigate problems encountered through the testing process.

Skills / Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • 1-2 Years experience in accounting and tax required.
  • Relevant U.S. Tax experience in preparation of 1120/1065 returns is mandatory.
  • Previous Quality Assurance testing experience
  • Exposure to GoSystem Tax software
