What you Can Expect?

  • Your assignments will include recruiting entry level talent in our organization. You will receive training on how to source, screen, recruit and hire key talent into our organization. You will get the opportunity to work on real job opportunities and place critical talent into the Thomson Reuters organization. You should leave this intern program with a strong experience of what recruiting is like in a corporate environment.
  • You will partner with the Intern Lead to plan, and facilitate the program activities throughout the summer. You will be a key partner to the internship program and be expected to be available for the entirety of internship program which runs May 7 through August 17th. This program will enable you to learn project management skills throughout your internship.
  • Your voice and opinions will make a difference! Your will partner in meetings with different teams to provide solutions to recruiting challenges. You will be able to use different recruiting tools to gain knowledge in the recruiting experience. You will have the ability to demonstrate the impact of social media and how it makes an impact to the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources
  • Strong technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point).

Desired Skills

  • Attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Client Service Orientation: exceptional customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times.
